Winter X Games come to Tignes - 10th - 12th March 2010

THE snowsports event not to miss this winter! Top news! For the very first time, the Winter X Games land in Europe! And we are pleased to announce that Tignes was chosen to host this key event in freestyle ski and snowboard. For 3 days, from March 10th to 12th 2010, the best riders will gather from all around the world to compete against each other on Tignes’ snow for exceptional competitions. For this first European edition, the Winter X Games have scheduled 8 events: the Men and Women’s Super Pipe Ski and Snowboard, the Men and Women’s Slopestyle Ski and Snowboard, and a freestyle Snowmobile demo. Europe is set to witness a sporting technique and prowness never seen before on these shores!

CHEAPER PACKAGES INCLUDING LIFT PASS

We are now offering packages, including accommodation + 6 day Espace Killy lift pass (normally 218 Euros), at a lower rate than buying the two separately. Accommodation only and package prices can be found listed on our Prices page.

KEEPING THE COSTS DOWN

As well as offering deals for packages including the lift pass we can also offer the following to keep the cost of your holiday down;

*Airport Transfer prices from £45 return per person.

*Ski and boot hire from 65 euros per person.

*Unlimited wine with your chalet meal.

*Chalet bar with beer at only 1 euro for a "demi".

*Low cost packed lunch available from your chalet staff.

*Free parking at both our chalets.

End of the season 2009/10

The season in Tignes close on the 9th May and we plan to be open until then as we usually get good skiing right to the end. We currently have good availability in April and the price for the last week of the season is £344 including a Tignes 6 day lift pass.

Airport Transfers

Snowstar operate a fleet of minibuses and are fully licensed and insured to offer airport transfers for any passengers. So if you are staying elsewhere and need a transfer please see Snowstar Transfers website. We aim to be the cheapest (and best!) transfers to the Tarantaise. Of course we offer a special deal to our own chalet guests for transfers and this is roughly a 25% discount!
